Ryan's entrepreneurial journey started with the creation of Coffee at The Point, a 3,000-square-foot coffee and wine lounge located in the heart of Denver's Cultural and Historic Five Points neighborhood.  With the help of his brother, Donovan, Ryan opened the lounge in November 2010 and earned numerous awards, including the 2018 Small Business of the Year award, Denver A-List Winner, and Coffee Fest Top 5 America's Best Coffeehouse.

In addition to his entrepreneurial and community-building endeavors, Ryan has served on several non-profit boards and committees, including the Colorado Children's Campaign, the Five Points Business Improvement District, the Five Points Business District Office, Civic Canopy, Heart & Hand, St. Elizabeth's K-8 School, VEGA Charter School, and the Denver Retail Incubator.  He is also a Commissioner on the 2nd Judiciary Nominating Commission, appointed by the Governor of Colorado, and a Commissioner on the Denver Urban Renewal Authority Commission (DURA), appointed by the Mayor of Denver.  Ryan is a member of several committees, including Colorado Senator James Coleman's Business Cabinet, EDUCATE Denver, The Downtown Denver Partnership, and the Northeast Downtown and Five Points Action Plan committee.

Ryan's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems/Management Science and a Master's degree in Business Administration.  He has also held several management positions, including personnel benefits manager, business operations manager, human resources manager, and IT manager, focusing on internal/external customer relationships and bottom-line profitability.

Ryan's strategic abilities and leadership skills also made him a successful High School basketball coach for 20 years, leading his team to win the Boys Basketball 5A 2005-2006 State Championship.  Through his coaching, he provided a unique opportunity for players to achieve high athletic honors, high academic standards, and servant leadership characteristics through volunteer and service trips.

Overall, Ryan D. Cobbins' diverse experiences, strategic abilities, and passion for community building have significantly impacted many individuals and organizations.  He continues to inspire others with his entrepreneurial spirit, leadership skills, and dedication to making a positive difference in the world.
