About Ryan
Real-world leadership. Strategic thinking. Momentum built through experience.
Ryan Cobbins is an entrepreneur, advisor, strategist, and community leader whose work has consistently centered around helping people, organizations, and ideas move from possibility into meaningful execution.
Built Through Entrepreneurship
The story of Coffee at The Point remains a central pillar of Ryan's journey. From a concept on paper to opening its doors in just seven months, it grew into an award-winning community gathering space. Leading a team of 25 and navigating the complexities of entrepreneurship during economic uncertainty honed a specific kind of operational leadership. It was here that relationship-building, resilience, and systems thinking moved from theory into daily practice.
Leadership Beyond Business
Whether coaching basketball on the court or engaging in civic boardrooms, Ryan's leadership has always been built on relationship-building and strategic problem solving. This era marked a expansion where entrepreneurial grit met broader organizational impact, developing a refined approach to leadership development and civic commitment.
Capital, Strategy & Organizational Growth
Directing more than $17 million in grants and low-interest loans required the building of sophisticated systems and statewide partnerships. Helping entrepreneurs and small business owners statewide, Ryan repeatedly observed a recurring pattern: many capable people possessed incredible expertise but lacked the clarity, structure, and strategic support to find true momentum.
From serving as Vice Chair of the Denver Urban Renewal Authority to participating in a Governor-appointed judicial nominating commission, Ryan's work in governance is about bridge-building. Civic engagement and nonprofit board leadership served as a training ground for large-scale coalition building and organizational strategy, focusing always on the human impact of policy.
Why Momentum Advisory Exists
The realization was simple: many capable people are sitting on valuable expertise and often need clarity, accountability, and strategic guidance to bridge the gap. Ryan created Momentum Advisory, The Momentum Method™, and the NYOP Access Model™ to help them move forward. The focus is not just inspiration. The focus is momentum.

A Different Kind of Advisory Experience
Combining strategic advisory with operational thinking and entrepreneurial experience, Ryan serves as a peer to those in the arena. Part strategist. Part advisor. Part sounding board. Part problem solver. This is built for the high-performing professional who needs implementation support and leadership strategy without the hype-based coaching language.
If You’re Building What’s Next…
You may not need to start over. You may simply need clarity, structure, strategy, and momentum around the experience you already have.
Education & Perspective
With an MBA and a background in Computer Information Systems and Management Science, Ryan possesses a technical foundation. However, his perspective was primarily shaped in the real-world trials of entrepreneurship, operational leadership, and navigating the profound uncertainty of growth work. He values execution and relationship-building over abstract theory.
